Accor and Sun Group, on 7 July 2026, signed an agreement to elevate their decade-long strategic partnership, adding nearly 6,000 premium hotel rooms and serviced apartments spanning virtually every segment from mid-scale to luxury, and from traditional hospitality to lifestyle brands, across Phu Quoc Island and Da Nang.
The signing took place in the presence of Mr. Sébastien Bazin, Chairman & CEO of Accor – a signal of the group’s commitment to partnering with Sun Group, one of Vietnam’s leading real estate and tourism developers – and a testament to Vietnam’s growing appeal as a world-class destination.
Debut of several Accor brands in Vietnam
Accor operates more than 5,800 hotels and resorts across more than 110 countries. Vietnam is currently Accor’s third-largest market in Asia, with 45 properties nationwide. With over 110 million loyalty members worldwide, the partnership is also expected to channel a steady stream of high-value international guests to Vietnam’s key destinations.
Several Accor brands will also be introduced to the Vietnam market for the very first time including Sofitel Serviced Residences, Swissôtel Living and TRIBE as well as Ennismore’s fashion-rooted lifestyle brand SO/.
Under the agreement, Accor will operate SO/, MGallery, Grand Mercure, TRIBE, and ibis Styles in Phu Quoc Island; along with Sofitel, Swissôtel, and MGallery brands in the Da Nang. Rixos Phu Quoc Resort, Southeast Asia’s first all-inclusive luxury resort under the Accor & Ennismore umbrella, is slated to open in Q4 this year.

- Ba Na Hills Hotel Da Nang – MGallery Collection – 250 keys
- Ruby Beach Hotel – MGallery Collection – 180 keys
- SO/ Phu Quoc Ruby Beach – 300 keys
- Grand Mercure Phu Quoc Ruby Beach – 250 keys
- TRIBE Hon Thom Phu Quoc – 321 keys
- ibis Styles Hon Thom Phu Quoc – 588 keys
Sun Group is accelerating infrastructure investment on the island through the launch of Sun PhuQuoc Airways with Phu Quoc as its hub and a partnership with Changi Airports International to develop a “destination airport” model at Phu Quoc International Airport.
The synergy with Accor’s portfolio is expected to strengthen Phu Quoc’s capacity to host MICE events and large-scale gatherings.
In Da Nang, the presence of Accor brands at the DIFF Fireworks Festival & Commercial Complex will help to enhance the experience of Vietnam’s most celebrated international fireworks festival. The Accor experience extends further up to Ba Na Hills, home of the world-famous Golden or Hand Bridge, completing a premium resort-meets-entertainment journey for visitors to the city on the Han River.
