TURNER PR, an industry leading communications agency, announced the addition of Malcolm Griffiths, SVP, who started in the firm’s NY office on Sept. 1st.

Griffiths will lead one of the agency’s largest tourism portfolios, support business development and professional growth of the agency’s growing team.

Griffiths joins TURNER after serving as Country Manager with VisitBritain’s national tourism office in São Paulo, Brazil, for the past six years. “TURNER’s tourism practice has had record growth and Malcolm’s extensive domestic and international experience positions us to add immediate value to client engagements across the portfolio,” said Christine Turner, president of TURNER.

“Malcolm further strengthens our ability to create robust, sophisticated and authentic campaigns across a mixed medium spectrum. And as a member of our leadership team, he will provide tremendous value supporting the professional growth of associates, business development and key agency initiatives.”

Before joining VisitBritain, Griffiths was a Vice President at the New York City-based Development Counsellors International (DCI), a firm specializing in economic development and tourism marketing, and he started his career in Los Angeles with Tourism Australia’s marketing communications team in the Americas.

At TURNER, Griffiths will lead a client portfolio that includes Tourism Australia and Tennessee Tourism.

“I’m thrilled to join TURNER’s innovative and strategic team, to help further expand the firm’s impressive growth and reputation,” said Griffiths.

“I look forward to adding my 20+ year destination marketing experience to a range of accounts in collaboration with colleagues and clients in New York, across the U.S., and globally.”
