Kolter Hospitality Promotes Katherine Beja-McLennan

Katherine Beja-McLennan has been promoted to Area Director of Sales & Marketing, leading efforts for a collection of Florida-based Hyatt hotels under Kolter Hospitality management.

In the role, Beja-McLennan is responsible for sales and marketing efforts, developing strategies for revenue growth, managing a team of sales associates, and working with marketing and PR to ensure consistent media messaging and social communication strategy for Hyatt Centric Las Olas, Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port and Hyatt Place Coconut Point.

Beja-McLennan has led the sales & marketing team of the award-winning Hyatt Centric Las Olas since it opened its doors back in April of 2020, proving to be an integral part of its growth throughout the years. In addition to her role at Hyatt Centric, she will also be taking the reins of Hyatt Place Fort Lauderdale Cruise Point, conveniently located just one mile from the Fort Lauderdale International Airport and a half mile from the Port Everglades Cruise Port, as well as the Hyatt Place Coconut Point in Estero, FL, situated near Bonita Springs and Fort Myers.

“It gives me great pleasure to announce Katherine’s promotion,” said Sara Martinez, Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

“Her depth of knowledge and expertise in sales and marketing strategies is remarkable. I’m confident she will continue to contribute on a larger scale to the success of Kolter Hospitality’s growing portfolio.”

Before taking her talents to the Sunshine State, Beja-McLennan hailed from the Big Apple, where she gathered over 20 years of industry knowledge and experience. Her previous positions include leadership in food & beverage and executive team management at properties and brands ranging from The St. Regis New York and W Union Square to Delano South Beach, Wyndham Puerto Rico, and more. In a recent role as Director of Sales and Marketing at Pier Sixty-Six Hotel & Marina she earned a reputation for exceeding the property’s total annual revenue, increasing RevPAR index, and spearheading the development and launch of a new digital marketing and e-commerce platform.

“I am so grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such a dedicated team of talented individuals at Kolter Hospitality and each of these resorts,” said Beja-McLennan. “I am looking forward to using the relationships I have formed and my experience with the brand and in the industry to continue to propel these three properties toward success.”
