He said, “We’re delighted to extend Hard Rock Hotel’s unparalleled offerings to the beautiful country of Portugal in 2026. The property boasts an impressive array of amenities, including direct beach access, the renowned Hard Rock Roxity Kids Club™, three restaurants, bars, exterior pools, a Rock Spa®, gym, Rock Shop®, sports area, and beach club.

Portimão, known for its historic ports, lively marina, and the Algarve International Autodrome, offers a blend of history and modern amenities. The hotel’s location on Vau Beach offers an exquisite view of coppery cliffs, turquoise waters, and access to a range of restaurants offering fresh seafood.

Jordi Vilanova, President of Mercan Properties, highlighted the potential impact of the new venture. He stated, “We’re excited to create a unique asset on the shores of Praia do Vau that reflects the Portuguese culture and attracts visitors from around the globe. We believe this collaboration will greatly contribute to the country and make Algarve an even more attractive tourist destination.”

The new hotel is expected to generate over 400 jobs during construction and operations starting in 2024. This venture will not only boost the local economy but also enhance the overall tourism experience in the region.

As Hard Rock International continues to build its global legacy, the upcoming Hard Rock Hotel Algarve promises to be another shining jewel in the company’s crown.
