IHG to Open Hotel Indigo The Forestias Bangkok

IHG Hotels & Resorts has partnered with Magnolia Quality Development Corporation Limited (MQDC) to expand its Hotel Indigo brand in Thailand.

The collaboration will introduce the 274-room Hotel Indigo The Forestias Bangkok, scheduled to open in 2026.

The new hotel will be a part of The Forestias, a vast 64-hectare mixed-use development on Bangkok’s eastern outskirts. This area is noted as the largest project of its type in Thailand, integrating residential, commercial, and entertainment facilities.

Hotel Indigo The Forestias Bangkok is located at Bangna Km.7, 15 minutes from Suvarnabhumi International Airport and 20 minutes from Bangkok city centre, both of which will be accessible through a high-speed rail link.

Guests will enjoy great service and meals made from locally sourced ingredients in dining facilities including a café, lounge and pool bar. Other features include a gym, swimming pool and over 6,500 square metres of meeting space for up to 400 people.

Hotel Indigo is part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ Luxury & Lifestyle collection along with Six Senses, Regent Hotels & Resorts, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants and Vignette Collection.

With 153 hotels across the globe and more than 130 in the pipeline, Hotel Indigo is a leader in the branded boutique category – one of the fastest-growing hotel segments around the world, and captures the spirit of local neighbourhoods everywhere.

Thailand continues to be a strong growth market for IHG, with 39 hotels across nine brands in the country and another 37 properties in the pipeline. Together with Hotel Indigo Bangkok Wireless Road and Hotel Indigo Phuket Patong, Hotel Indigo The Forestias Bangkok will join three other hotels in the pipeline including two in Bangkok and one in Koh Samui.
