A new luxury hotel in NYC, the Kimpton Rockefeller Center, is set to open in late 2025, bringing a fresh wave of boutique elegance to one of Manhattan’s most iconic locations.
This latest addition to the Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants portfolio will mark the brand’s third hotel in New York City, offering travelers a stylish gateway to quintessential New York from the heart of one of the city’s most sought after destinations.
Developed in collaboration with Extell Development Company, the 33-story Kimpton Rockefeller Center will be crafted by New York-based SLCE Architects and INC Architecture & Design.
In addition to expansive, coveted views of the city skyline, the design-forward hotel will feature 529 guest rooms and inspired social spaces, including two full-service restaurants, a lobby lounge and a rooftop bar. Additional amenities will include a fitness center and two spaces to host unique meetings and social gatherings. The hotel will also offer several beloved Kimpton perks and programs, along with pet-friendly policies.

Located on 48th Street between Fifth and Sixth Avenues, Kimpton Rockefeller Center will provide travelers with an ideal launch point for exploration. Those seeking to experience classic New York can easily stroll to some of the city’s most notable landmarks, including Radio City Music Hall, Central Park, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, the Theater District, or indulge in premier shopping along Fifth and Madison Avenues.
Kimpton Rockefeller Center’s location also provides guests with unparalleled access to the city’s vast transportation system, making it convenient to traverse Manhattan and beyond whether traveling for business or leisure.

There are 75 Kimptons open globally with an additional 57 properties scheduled to open in the next three to five years across exciting destinations, such as Riviera Maya, Lisbon, Riyadh and Brisbane. Kimpton Rockefeller Center will be the third Kimpton hotel in New York City, joining Kimpton Hotel Theta and Kimpton Hotel Eventi.
