New Marriott Hotel Near Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport Opens

Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, the newest addition to Thailand’s hospitality landscape, has officially opened its doors.

Located less than 10 minutes from Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi International Airport, recently expanded to handle 60 million passengers annually, this modern hotel offers an ideal retreat for both business and leisure travelers in the “Land of Smiles.”

The hotel, embodying the pioneering spirit of Courtyard by Marriott as a select service brand, is designed to meet the changing needs of today’s travelers. “With its extensive facilities, natural design influences, and exceptional location, Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport will connect international guests and groups to their destination, offering comfort and convenience,” stated Mr. Jakob Helgen, Area Vice President – Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia & Myanmar, Marriott International.

As the largest Courtyard by Marriott in Thailand, the property boasts 468 rooms and suites. It skillfully blends traditional Thai charm with contemporary design, drawing inspiration from the homes along Khlong Prawet Burirom, a canal adjacent to the hotel. The wood-paneled façade and interior furnishings showcase traditional Thai crafts, creating a resort-style ambiance.

Guest rooms and suites feature floral motifs reflecting Bangkok’s waterways, plush bedding, flexible workspaces, high-speed Wi-Fi, 55″ UHD TVs, and sofa beds. Spacious bathrooms are equipped with power showers and eco-friendly Nirvae amenities, and many rooms offer scenic views of the canal, city, or pool.

The hotel presents a variety of culinary experiences, including Chon Som Dining, an all-day restaurant with pool views; Big Bite Burger, Bar & Grill, an American diner; The Lobby Deli; and the Pool Bar, offering pizzas and a Japanese charcoal barbecue. Additionally, guests can enjoy the 40-meter outdoor pool, a 24-hour gym, and the Let’s Relax Spa. For those exploring the local area, canal tours and bicycle trails are available, along with a retail gallery for last-minute shopping.

Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport also caters to event planners with an 800-square meter Grand Ballroom and seven smaller meeting rooms. An outdoor lawn and a lounge with canal views provide unique settings for business or social gatherings.

As part of Marriott Bonvoy, the hotel allows members to enjoy exclusive experiences and rewards. This latest development by Marriott International reinforces its commitment to providing outstanding hospitality options in key global gateways.
