Between the snow-kissed peaks of the Andes and the winding Vilcanota River lies a quiet corner of Peru where time seems to pause. In this sacred cradle of Inca history, Nomad Hotels Group has unveiled its newest creation: QASA Valle Sagrado. Designed not merely as a hotel, but as a place of belonging, this boutique retreat is the brand’s second property and a clear declaration of its mission—offering soulful, intentional hospitality rooted in place, culture, and emotion.
With only 18 rooms, including suites that open to terraces and balconies overlooking the Andes, QASA Valle Sagrado exemplifies Nomad’s “Home Boutique” concept. It’s not about extravagance, but about reconnecting with what truly matters. Travelers here aren’t guests—they’re part of a story that blends rustic beauty with spiritual energy. From adobe walls and natural stonework to curated artisan details and slow-living design, everything invites reflection, rest, and presence.
A Boutique Retreat at the Heart of the Andes
QASA Valle Sagrado is nestled between two powerful forces: the sacred Apus—mountain deities of the Andean cosmovision—and the Vilcanota River, whose ancient waters have long fed the Sacred Valley. Within this mystical geography, the hotel offers an experience that feels both intimate and expansive. Every architectural detail draws on local techniques and materials. Thick adobe walls insulate against cool nights, handwoven fabrics soften the interiors, and panoramic windows bathe rooms in natural light.
Among the highlights of the hotel is TAWA, an on-site restaurant celebrating native ingredients through seasonal menus that pay homage to Peruvian culinary traditions. Ingredients are sourced from nearby farms, local markets, and even the hotel’s own gardens. Meanwhile, the Armonía Spa offers more than just relaxation—it aims for spiritual realignment through rituals inspired by ancestral Andean practices. Using herbs, stones, and ceremonial infusions, each treatment is crafted to renew the mind and spirit.
The QASA Philosophy: More Than a Name
The word “QASA” itself is not just a name but a statement. As Christopher Ramos, CEO of Nomad Hotels Group, explains, it symbolizes the brand’s core belief: that true luxury is not measured by stars or square footage, but by a sense of connection and comfort. “It’s our way of reminding the world that true luxury lies in belonging, not in ostentation,” he affirms.
This philosophy flows through every element of QASA Valle Sagrado. There are no corporate clichés, no industrial-style rooms, no impersonal service. Instead, the hotel operates like a living home—welcoming, warm, and deeply tied to its environment. Staff members are trained not just to serve, but to share the story of their land, culture, and traditions. This creates a travel experience that feels less like tourism and more like rediscovery.
Nomad’s Expansion Across Peru
QASA Valle Sagrado follows the footsteps of QASA Arequipa, Nomad’s first property, which redefined urban boutique hospitality in Peru’s “White City.” But the brand’s vision doesn’t stop in the highlands. Nomad Hotels Group is preparing two new projects that will take its concept to the capital and the coast:
- Miraflores, Lima: Set to launch under the “Urban” concept, this hotel will offer a stylish entry point for travelers arriving in Peru’s capital. Located in Lima’s most vibrant district, it will blend contemporary design with art, gastronomy, and neighborhood culture.
- Coastal Northern Peru: Still under wraps but nearing final coordination stages, this beachfront eco-hotel will showcase Nomad’s commitment to sustainability, natural immersion, and slow-living ideals. Designed to foster conscious travel, the property will mark the group’s entry into coastal hospitality.
With these expansions, Nomad isn’t aiming for size—it’s aiming for soul. Each location is chosen not for market metrics but for its emotional resonance. Each property is crafted to reflect its surroundings and inspire meaningful connections.
Hospitality with Purpose
Nomad Hotels Group began with a singular promise: to transform hotels into homes. In an era when digital check-ins and sterile hallways dominate the industry, Nomad seeks to restore the emotional core of travel. Its guiding pillars—emotional design, sustainability, local employment, and authenticity—remain at the center of every decision.
From Arequipa to the Sacred Valley, and soon from Lima to the northern coast, the brand is not looking to increase room numbers. It aims to create memories. Because for Nomad, each property is not just a place…
It’s a story.
Nomad. Our slogan?
YOU.
