Radisson Hotel Group has signed a long-term lease agreement with Frankfurt developer Groß & Partner for a new Radisson Collection hotel in the FOUR Frankfurt mixed-use urban quarter, confirming the brand’s second German property after Berlin.
The new hotel will occupy floors 11 to 19 of the 173-metre T2 tower at Große Gallusstraße, one of four high-rise towers in the FOUR Frankfurt development. The hotel is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2027 and will be operated directly by Radisson Hotel Group itself. The property will offer 189 rooms and suites featuring floor-to-ceiling glazing with panoramic views of the Frankfurt skyline.
The ground floor will house a lobby, lounge and bar designed to attract both hotel guests and visitors from the surrounding quarter. A restaurant and a second bar with approximately 135 seats are planned for the first floor, with a fitness area completing the offering.
The interior design concept, named “Urban Layers”, was developed by Radisson Hotel Group‘s in-house design and architecture team. The concept aims to translate Frankfurt‘s contrasts — its historic old town, international financial district, cultural scene and modern skyline — into a contemporary hospitality design language, with warm neutral tones, mineral accents, high-quality materials and layered lighting.
FOUR Frankfurt is one of Europe’s most prominent urban mixed-use developments, combining offices, residences, retail, dining and hospitality across four towers in a central and connected location set between the city’s banking district and its luxury retail core. Three of the four towers are now largely occupied, with a portion of the retail space already leased. Financing for the T2 tower was only finalised in February 2026, and a food court is expected to open later this year.
The entire FOUR Frankfurt development holds DGNB Platinum precertification and serves as a pilot project under the DGNB “Vertical Cities” framework, incorporating measures such as geothermal energy systems, smart digital monitoring, biodiversity initiatives and more than 2,300 bicycle parking spaces.
The signing adds Frankfurt to Radisson Collection‘s growing presence in major gateway cities across the region, following Berlin, Paris, Madrid, Rome and Brussels. The brand has grown to nearly 70 hotels worldwide since its 2018 launch and continues to target landmark urban developments over stand-alone properties.
Max Gross, Chief Development Officer for Central and Eastern Europe at Radisson Hotel Group, described FOUR Frankfurt as an outstanding urban development project with significant international visibility, calling it the right environment for the group’s luxury-lifestyle brand. Nikolaus Bieber, Managing Partner at Groß & Partner, said that following a realignment of the hotel concept for the tower, the company had succeeded in securing a partner in the luxury segment, adding that a hotel is a key component for a mixed-use quarter by bringing additional footfall, international guests and publicly accessible spaces to the site.
As Europe‘s financial capital, a major trade fair destination and an international transport hub, Frankfurt combines corporate travel demand with leisure tourism in a way that makes it a natural fit for a design-led luxury-lifestyle brand. The Radisson Collection entry into Frankfurt underlines the group’s continued push into premium city destinations across the continent.
