  1. Diversity and Inclusion:
Wynn Resorts celebrated its inaugural Diversity Week in August 2022. This program highlighted the company’s commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce through various activities that promoted education, understanding, and celebration of different cultures within the company. The week-long event focused on three key areas: Workplace, Marketplace, and Community.

The company is also actively investing in the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Recruitment Initiative. By partnering with HBCUs that offer hospitality and tourism programs, Wynn Resorts has created awareness of employment opportunities and welcomed its first cohort of graduates into the HBCU Management Training Program. The efforts of the company in this area were recently recognized as Wynn Resorts ranked among the top 12 companies in the Travel and Leisure category on Forbes’ list of “Best Employers for Diversity.”

  1. Philanthropy:
Wynn Resorts places great emphasis on giving back to the communities in which it operates. In 2022, the company experienced a significant increase in employee volunteerism, more than doubling from the previous year. Employees in North America collectively volunteered over 28,000 hours, with Encore Boston Harbor employees making an exceptional impact, tripling their volunteerism compared to the previous year.

Additionally, the Wynn Employee Foundation raised a record-breaking amount of more than $800,000 in employee donations, marking the highest fundraising year for the company. The foundation matches employee donations dollar for dollar, up to $75,000 per employee, making it the highest corporate match in the hospitality industry.

  1. Renewable Energy:
Wynn Las Vegas made substantial progress in reducing its carbon footprint by sourcing carbon-free energy. In 2022, it achieved an impressive milestone as 49% of its operational business hours were supplied by renewable energy sources. This commitment exemplifies Wynn Resorts’ dedication to sustainable practices and demonstrates its determination to protect and preserve the environment.

Wynn Resorts’ latest ESG report not only reinforces the company’s core values but also sets new benchmarks in corporate responsibility within the hospitality industry. By prioritizing diversity, community engagement, and sustainable practices, the company aims to lead by example and inspire others to follow suit.
