voco Winchester Hotel Promotes Joe Davidovitz to General Manager

Castlebridge Hospitality has promoted Joe Davidovitz to General Manager of voco Winchester Hotel & Spa, while James Watson has joined the property as Hotel Operations Manager. The appointments strengthen the leadership team at one of the key hotels within the company’s growing portfolio.

Davidovitz brings 15 years of experience with InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and has worked at voco Winchester Hotel & Spa since October 2023. Watson joined the hotel in February 2026 after building operational experience across several roles within Marriott Hotels.

Davidovitz joined Castlebridge Hospitality as Operations Manager before progressing through a series of promotions. He was appointed Hotel Manager in January 2025 and has now moved into the General Manager position.

During his time at the hotel, he has overseen operational performance and guest service initiatives, earning recognition for his leadership and operational achievements.

My focus with James will be on driving the hotel forward commercially while continuing to elevate the guest experience. Experienced Hospitality Leadership Team

Watson brings 12 years of hospitality experience and has held positions spanning conference and banqueting, leisure operations, and food and beverage management. His background with Marriott Hotels provides additional operational expertise as the hotel continues to develop its guest offering.

The appointments come as Castlebridge Hospitality continues to expand its presence in the UK hotel sector. The company manages a portfolio that includes Hotel Indigo Coventry, Hotel Indigo Bath, Hotel Indigo Chester, Hotel Indigo Stratford-upon-Avon, voco Winchester Hotel & Spa, Courtyard by Marriott Keele and Holiday Inn Express Campo de Gibraltar – Los Barrios.
