Airlines, the first low-fare airline serving Central Wisconsin Airport (CWA), has announced a pioneering move with its exclusive nonstop service to Orlando International Airport (MCO), bringing new levels of affordable and reliable air travel to the region.
In a recent announcement, Avelo revealed the introduction of its new nonstop service, which will operate twice a week on Thursdays and Sundays, starting from October 5, 2023. The flights will be facilitated using the Boeing Next-Generation (NG) 737 aircraft.
With introductory one-way fares starting at $49, the new service promises an affordable and convenient option for Central Wisconsin residents and travelers heading to the ‘Theme Park Capital of the World.’
Andrew Levy, Chairman and CEO of Avelo Airlines, shared his excitement about the expansion: “Central Wisconsin – say hello to Avelo! Our combination of everyday low fares, industry-leading reliability and friendly service, along with CWA’s time and money-saving convenience, makes getting to Orlando easier and more affordable than ever.”
Avelo’s growth into the Wisconsin market extends their nationwide route network to 25 states, adding to the already impressive list of 46 destinations served by the airline.
Furthermore, the airline has built a reputation for itself as one of America’s most reliable airlines, achieving the lowest flight cancellation rate and the second-best on-time performance in the U.S. airline industry in the first six months of 2023.
This milestone continues Avelo’s vision of providing customers with affordable, convenient, and enjoyable journeys, placing a strong emphasis on their ‘Soul of Service’ culture that promises a welcoming and caring travel experience.
With this new service, Avelo Airlines is not just connecting destinations; it’s bridging communities and forging stronger economic ties, making Central Wisconsin an even more attractive place to live, work, and grow.
