At a time when air connectivity has become a key driver of economic growth and tourism, Avianca, part of Abra Group, continues to strengthen its operations to connect more people with opportunities, support business growth and facilitate new travel experiences across the continent.
With 106 years of operation, the airline has one of the most robust networks in Latin America, operating more than 700 daily flights and generating more than 14,000 jobs across the region. In 2025 alone, Avianca transported nearly 37 million passengers, contributing to the growth of key sectors such as tourism, trade and investment.
In line with this commitment, the airline opened sales on May 8 for new frequencies on routes to the United States, expanding travel options for its customers. The following itineraries are now available for purchase:
Bogotá – Fort Lauderdale: An additional daily frequency will be added, for a total of two flights per day.

Avianca currently operates more than 400 weekly flights to and from the United States, connecting 14 cities across Latin America with destinations including Boston, Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco and Las Vegas (seasonal), among others. Through its network, travelers can also connect easily to more than 80 destinations across the Americas and Europe.
Customers can now purchase tickets through avianca.com, the mobile app, the Contact Center, physical sales points and travel agencies.
