Aviator College has announced a strategic partnership with Avelo Airlines, paving the way for aeronautical and technology students to quickly transition into promising careers in aviation.
The partnership provides a preferred hiring pathway, allowing Aviator College graduates to join Avelo Airlines as pilots or airline maintenance technicians.
The College of Aeronautical and Technology is recognized for its student-friendly environment, and its commitment to student success echoes Avelo’s One Crew value. This initiative promotes a collaborative culture where crew members support each other and prioritize customer care.
The Avelo Direct Pilot Program offers Aviator College flight graduates, both degree and non-degree, a fast-track path to the flight deck at Avelo Airlines following the completion of a jet transition program. The partnership has also expanded to include Avelo Tech Ops, providing a direct program for Aviator College Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) graduates to join the Avelo Maintenance Team across the airline’s maintenance network.
Michael Cohen, Aviator College CEO, expressed his excitement about the partnership. “These are very exciting times for young people entering the aviation field, and we are proud to partner with Avelo Airlines, providing our pilot and mechanic graduates the opportunity to work with Avelo,” Cohen said.
Scott Hall, Avelo Airlines Head of Flight Operations, highlighted the importance of the partnership to Avelo’s mission. “To continue inspiring travel and making air travel easy and affordable, we need the best pilots. Partnering with Aviator College ensures the highest standards of training are implemented professionally on our flight decks and maintenance crews,” he said.
Aviator College of Aeronautical Science & Technology, known as the “Airline College”, is a nationally accredited institution and Part 141 Flight School. It offers a 15-month non-degree Commercial Pilot Pathway, as well as two- and four-year Aeronautical Science degrees integrated with advanced flight training.
