Emirates has restored 96% of its global network, marking a near-full return to operations as travel demand continues to rise. The airline now serves 137 destinations across 72 countries, offering more than 1,300 weekly flights, equivalent to 75% of its pre-disruption capacity.
The Dubai-based carrier has progressively resumed services in recent weeks across the Americas, Europe, Africa, West Asia, the Middle East and GCC, the Far East and Australasia. The expansion reinforces Dubai’s role as a major global hub connecting international travellers.
Even during a reduced schedule, Emirates carried 4.7 million passengers between 1 March and 30 April, highlighting sustained demand and continued customer confidence in the airline.
Passengers flying with Emirates can expect its established onboard and onground offering, including regionally inspired multi-course meals and a wide range of premium beverages. The airline’s ice inflight entertainment system provides more than 6,500 channels in nearly 40 languages, covering films, TV shows, music, podcasts and more.
Connectivity has also been expanded, with high-speed Wi-Fi now available and Starlink internet installed on 28 aircraft, allowing passengers to stay connected during flights.
The airline has introduced more flexible travel options, including one free date change for bookings made from 2 April and the ability to hold fares for 24 hours at no cost. These measures aim to give travellers greater confidence when planning trips.
For those transiting through Dubai, the Dubai Connect programme offers added convenience. Passengers with layovers of 6 to 26 hours can access complimentary hotel stays at 4 or 5-star properties, along with transfers, meals and, where required, a UAE entry visa.
Emirates Skywards members can also benefit from enhanced rewards, with accelerated tier upgrades and bonus tier miles available between 1 May and 31 August 2026 on Emirates and flydubai flights.
The airline said the continued restoration of services reflects its commitment to reconnecting global travel while expanding capacity and improving the overall customer experience.
