JetBlue Airways has made its highly anticipated entry into the continental European market with the launch of new nonstop service between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (CDG).
This expansion is significant as Paris is the largest market that JetBlue did not previously serve from New York and is one of the most requested destinations among the airline’s customer base.
By offering daily flights connecting New York to Paris, along with successful routes between the U.S. and London and upcoming service to Amsterdam, JetBlue is disrupting high-fare legacy carriers that have traditionally dominated transatlantic routes for decades.
