SalamAir Responds to Demand with Year-Round Beirut Flights

SalamAir, Oman’s pioneering low-cost carrier, has officially made its Beirut route a permanent addition to its schedule starting September 30th.

This decision was prompted by the growing public demand and notable booking successes during the New Year holidays and the past summer season.

Capt. Mohamed Ahmed, the CEO of SalamAir, shared his enthusiasm about the update, stating, “Since its introduction in December 2022, the seasonal Beirut destination has garnered significant interest. The positive reception has led us to incorporate Beirut as a consistent year-round destination.” He further highlighted the potential this connection holds for enhancing trade, tourism, and cultural exchanges between Lebanon and Oman.

Starting from the end of September, SalamAir will offer its passengers weekly flights to Beirut every Saturday. To accommodate the increased demand during the New Year holidays, the airline will also introduce supplementary flights.

This move is poised to cater to the increasing demands of Lebanese expatriates and tourists. It grants locals from both countries a golden opportunity to delve into the unique cultural and tourism experiences each nation offers. The improved connectivity aims to boost mutual collaborations, promising economic benefits and creating prospects for businesses and individuals in both countries.

SalamAir’s impressive portfolio comprises 41 destinations, both domestic and international, ensuring connectivity across a diverse range of locations. Whether flying within Oman or journeying to international hubs, passengers can trust SalamAir’s growing network for a seamless travel experience.
