The first phase begins on July 2, when flights will increase from once daily to 11 times per week. Additional flights will operate on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The second phase kicks in on July 18, bringing the frequency to twice daily, every day of the week. Ticket sales for the added services have already started.

Premium Services at Competitive Prices

TransNusa is positioning itself as Southeast Asia’s first holistic premium service airline, blending comfort and affordability. According to Datuk Bernard Francis, Group CEO of TransNusa, the expansion aligns with the airline’s mission to offer greater passenger convenience while maintaining high service standards.

The airline’s international routes, including the Bali–Perth connection, feature three fare categories: SEAT, SEAT-PLUS, and FLEXI-PRO. These bundles provide passengers with increasing levels of value, including free baggage, meal service, preferred seat selection, and priority boarding.

  • SEAT: Basic fare with standard benefits
  • SEAT-PLUS: Includes 20kg checked baggage and flexible changes
  • FLEXI-PRO: Includes 30kg checked baggage, seat selection, meal, refundability, and unlimited changes

Pricing and Booking Options

Ticket prices for the Bali–Perth route start at IDR 1,699,000 (approx. USD 110 or AUD 156). Tickets are available via TransNusa’s official website, transnusa.co.id, and select Online Travel Agents (OTAs). Regardless of booking channel, all passengers can check in through the airline’s website.

Expanding Connections Beyond Perth

Besides its Bali–Perth service, TransNusa also connects Bali to Guangzhou, China. The airline offers short layovers—no more than two hours—for passengers connecting from Perth to Guangzhou. This allows West Australian travelers to explore two destinations with ease.

Datuk Bernard Francis noted that adventurous travelers can extend their journey from Bali to Guangzhou and visit popular attractions like the Gulong Gorge skywalk glass bridge. The airline’s strategic scheduling makes these multi-destination itineraries more accessible.

With continued investment in service and route expansion, TransNusa is carving out a niche as a premium yet affordable carrier for international and domestic travelers alike. The Bali–Perth route is just the beginning of the airline’s broader regional ambitions.
