Windstar Cruises announces nearly 30 new voyages for 2026 as the small ship cruise line expands its global itineraries and extends a Wave Season promotion available for bookings made through March 31, 2026.
The new voyages highlight destinations across Europe, the Mediterranean, the South Pacific and Northern Europe, while offering added benefits such as an all-inclusive upgrade, a pre-cruise hotel stay and onboard credit. Select sailings covered by the promotion run through March 31, 2027.
The company says its small yachts, carrying between 148 and 342 guests, allow travelers to visit ports and waterways that larger ships cannot reach. The newly announced itineraries include voyages during tulip season in the Netherlands and Belgium, sailings along southern Italy and the Dalmatian Coast, expeditions to French Polynesia and the Marquesas Islands, and a mystery cruise in Spain where ports are revealed shortly before arrival.
The offer is part of Windstar’s “Beyond Inclusive” Wave Season promotion, which provides additional benefits for select voyages.
- Complimentary all-inclusive upgrade including select beverages, Wi-Fi and gratuities
- A pre-cruise hotel night with transfer to the yacht where available
- Up to $1,000 onboard credit per guest on select sailings
“There are so many incredible moments throughout the year to plan a Windstar voyage — from summer along Europe’s storied coastlines to shoulder-season escapes in the Mediterranean,” said Janet Bava, Chief Commercial Officer at Windstar Cruises. “Our yachts are designed to bring you closer to the places you’re exploring, whether that’s sailing into Venice’s lagoon, dropping anchor off a quiet Greek island, or stepping ashore in a tucked-away harbor. When you pair that kind of access and intimacy with our most compelling Wave Season offer to date, it becomes the perfect time to turn those travel plans into something truly unforgettable.”
The new voyages cover both classic destinations and lesser-visited ports. Among the most notable additions to the 2026 lineup are:
- Tulip Season in Holland & Belgium (7 nights on Star Pride) – Timed to the eight-week bloom at Keukenhof Gardens, including an overnight stay in Antwerp and visits to Amsterdam and Bruges.
- Bella Italia – A Southern Italian Romance (8 nights on Wind Surf) – A Rome-to-Venice sailing exploring Calabria and Puglia with stops in Taranto, Otranto and Vibo Valentia.
- Classic Italy & Dalmatian Coast (8 nights on Wind Surf) – A Venice-to-Rome voyage featuring destinations such as Dubrovnik and the Bay of Kotor.
- Far Flung French Polynesia & Marquesas Magic (11 nights on Star Breeze) – A South Pacific itinerary visiting remote islands including Fakarava and Bora Bora.
- Spanish Mystery Cruise (8 nights on Star Legend) – Ports are revealed 36 hours before arrival, creating a surprise experience for guests.
The cruise line is also introducing a collection of shorter itineraries known as Quick Getaways, responding to growing demand for shorter vacations in Europe.
- La Dolce Vita in Italy & France – A Rome roundtrip with Riviera destinations
- A Taste of Southern France – A Mediterranean escape departing from Barcelona
- Belgium: A Sweet Getaway – A short Northern European sailing focused on culinary and cultural experiences
Windstar says its yachts offer an intimate onboard atmosphere with open bridge access and destination-focused cuisine. As the Official Cruise Line of the James Beard Foundation, the company also highlights culinary programming inspired by the regions its ships visit.
The Wave Season promotion remains available for bookings made through March 31, 2026, giving travelers a limited window to secure added benefits on select voyages sailing through March 31, 2027.
