Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) announces plans to open a new 500-room Taj hotel in Patna, Bihar, expanding the luxury brand’s presence in eastern India.
The greenfield project will be developed in partnership with Patliputra Palace Pvt. Ltd. and will be located opposite Gandhi Maidan, one of the city’s most prominent landmarks. The development reflects growing demand for business travel, large events and hospitality infrastructure in the rapidly expanding city.
The upcoming Taj Patna hotel will feature 500 rooms and extensive meeting and event facilities designed to serve both corporate gatherings and social celebrations. Located near the River Ganges, the property will offer multiple dining venues, wellness amenities and a large ballroom aimed at attracting conferences and major events to the region.
