New Partnership Set to Expand Global Travel Access for Spanish Dialysis Patients

Bookdialysis.com, a renowned online booking platform for holiday dialysis patients, is set to widen travel opportunities for patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) in Spain.

The company has recently announced a strategic partnership with ALCER, Spain’s leading kidney patient association, in a move set to boost access to dialysis services for patients on the go.

ALCER (Asociación para la Lucha Contra las Enfermedades del Riñón), representing nearly 60,000 patients through over 50 regional bodies, is committed to improving CKD patients’ quality of life by facilitating their social inclusion and freedom of movement.

The collaboration, born from a shared dedication to bettering the lives of CKD patients, will harness the capabilities of both entities to facilitate easier travel for Spain-based dialysis patients. The partnership aims to enable patients to tap into Bookdialysis.com’s network of more than 800 clinics across five continents, furthering their mobility and travel options.

Juan Carlos Julián Mauro, Director General of ALCER, expressed his delight at the alliance, emphasizing its role in bridging the gap between the medical needs of CKD patients and their desire for travel. The partnership echoes the association’s commitment to working with like-minded organizations to further their cause.

Aris Bailan, Managing Director of Bookdialysis.com, reflected on the significance of the agreement. He acknowledged it as a testament to the team’s persistent efforts in creating an online platform serving the unique travel needs of CKD patients worldwide. Bailan conveyed his anticipation to see what the future holds for this collaboration and its impact on the platform’s future endeavors.
