IBTM World, the leading global trade show, is gearing up to host its most technologically advanced event yet. Scheduled to take place at the iconic Fira de Barcelona from November 28 to 30, the event will feature the launch of new technologies aimed at elevating the attendee experience and ensuring optimal business outcomes.
A significant addition to this year’s event is the optimization of its matchmaking platform, which now includes a guidance tool named WalkMe. This tool acts as a step-by-step guide, assisting exhibitors in the preference selection process. For the first time, visitor buyers will also have access to this platform, allowing them to pre-schedule meetings with exhibitors.
To further enhance schedule management, visitor buyers’ diaries will be synchronized with the official IBTM World mobile app. However, to avail of the pre-scheduled appointments feature, they must register before October 31.
IBTM World has also unveiled its Exhibitor Dashboard for the 2023 edition. This dashboard provides exhibitors with real-time insights into profile views and lead generation, all through the Emperia app.
Vasyl Zhygalo, IBTM World’s Portfolio Director, expressed enthusiasm about the new technological offerings. He emphasized the event’s commitment to providing attendees with valuable tools to maximize their business connections in a short span of three days.
In a bid to simplify the registration process, IBTM World has partnered with Iceni Event Solutions for the 2023 event. Iceni will also introduce its automated Certification Tool, which will monitor each visitor and buyer’s session attendance, providing them with a comprehensive progress report post-event.
Nicky Hale, Director at Iceni, expressed excitement about the collaboration and highlighted the efficiency of their system in reducing administrative tasks, allowing the IBTM team to focus on delivering a top-tier event.
