Retired Women’s National Basketball Association player and four-time U.S. Olympic gold medallist Tamika Catchings will inspire business events professionals during her keynote session at 2019 PCMA EduCon June 25-28 at the JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles.
In addition, En Vogue, one of the top-selling American female music groups, will also join EduCon. The R&B group with top 10 hits “Hold On,” “Free Your Mind” and “My Lovin’ (You’re Never Gonna Get It” will perform at EduCon’s opening reception.
Catchings is also known for sharing her story on overcoming hearing loss, separation from family and the pain of debilitating physical injuries to breaking limits and achieving her dreams through grit and determination.

Catchings completed 16 seasons playing for the WNBA’s Indiana Fever before retiring after the 2016 season. She is the recipient of the ESPN’s first Humanitarian Award in 2015 and founder of Catch the Stars Foundation. Since her basketball retirement, she has served as Vice President of Basketball Operations for the Indiana Fever and continued her service as an ambassador within the NBA and WNBA.
Other EduCon Main Stage speakers include Five for Fighting’s John Ondrasik, a Grammy-nominated songwriter and performer who will kick-off the event with his inspirational and lyrical keynote on how to design the world you want; leadership expert Sara Ross, a former vice president and global head of leadership at IHHP who will draw upon scientific research and personal experience for her keynote on managing EQ to increase productivity and profitability; former INXS singer, Grammy-nominated songwriter and Rock and Roll Team Building founder Ciaran Gribbin, who will present a high-energy keynote demonstrating the powerful role music can have in any organization.
