Unveiling AIME’s 2024 ‘4Ps of Glocalisation’ Agenda

The Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event (AIME) is set to launch its Knowledge Program for the 2024 event, with an innovative theme “The 4Ps of GLOCALISATION”.

Scheduled to be held at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC), the program promises to merge global insights with local expertise, embodying the spirit of glocalisation — a concept that balances global presence with local nuances.

The Knowledge Program, launching AIME on February 19, 2024, will feature two keynote speakers who have significantly impacted the Australian consumer brand landscape. Lisa Ronson, an award-winning marketing executive, brings over 25 years of experience in building consumer brands and leading teams at prominent companies. Sebastian Terry, best-selling author and founder of the 100 Things movement, will share his unique journey, encouraging personal and organizational growth.

Curated by BEAM Founder El Kwang, the 2024 AIMEbassador, the program is tailored to engage over 600 global event professionals. It will initiate discussions on aligning the Glocalisation mindset with the critical 4Ps – People, Planet, Purpose, and Profit – aiming for sustainable business success and brand engagement.

Silke Calder, AIME Event Director, emphasizes that the 2024 Knowledge Program is meticulously crafted based on feedback to inspire event professionals from various sectors. The program seeks to spotlight industry luminaries, facilitating an environment for attendees to focus on the ‘P’ most relevant to their business and professional development.

Lisa Ronson aims to offer a practical approach to leadership and culture in her address, sharing do’s and don’ts for organizational enhancement. Sebastian Terry anticipates imparting a framework for attendees to realize their most meaningful goals, viewing Glocalisation as a catalyst for community and individual empowerment.

Additionally, the 2024 Knowledge Program will feature an exclusive food and beverage showcase by Geelong’s future convention centre, Nyaal Banyul Geelong Convention and Event Centre, aligning with the glocalisation theme.

Natalie O’Brien AM, MCEC Chief Executive, shares that Nyaal Banyul, the future operator of the centre, will reflect the glocalisation theme, offering unique experiences that integrate global trends with local offerings.

The program is accessible to Hosted Buyers, Media, Exhibitors, and Visitor Buyers with upgraded tickets, while the Ideas Academy presented by Spice Magazine offers further educational opportunities on subsequent days. These sessions are free for all attendees, adding value to the AIME experience.

AIME 2024 is slated for February 19-21, 2024, at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, promising a blend of education, inspiration, and networking for the events industry. For more information or to register to attend AIME visit: aime.com.au
