Russian tour operator FUN&SUN is adding new charter flights to Antalya from Moscow and St. Petersburg with Turkish Airlines as it expands its Türkiye programme for the summer season.
The extra services are designed to add capacity to the existing programme and meet higher demand during the peak holiday period, the company said.
The first Moscow to Antalya flight is scheduled for 17 July and will operate five times a week until the end of October, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The first St. Petersburg to Antalya service starts on 21 July and will run until 25 October, on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
FUN&SUN said the flights will use Airbus A321 aircraft, which have 163 economy seats and 16 business class seats. The company also said its Antalya package holidays available on the new flights start at about 100,000 rubles per person and rise to 181,000 rubles, depending on the hotel, trip length and travel dates.
Türkiye remains one of the main destinations in the operator’s summer programme, and the new charter services add to its existing flight options from Russia. The extra capacity comes as tour operators across the region respond to strong demand for Mediterranean beach holidays during the school holiday season.
FUN&SUN has not said whether the new flights are part of a wider expansion beyond Antalya, but the additions underline continued Russian demand for the Turkish resort city. Antalya has long been a key destination for Russian travellers, especially in the summer months, when airline and hotel capacity is often stretched.
The move also highlights the role of Turkish Airlines in supporting charter operations for package tour firms. By offering scheduled charter dates through late October, the operator is extending access to Antalya well beyond the busiest mid-summer weeks.
Prices for the new package tours vary by hotel category and travel period, which means the final cost can change significantly between bookings. Still, the launch gives travellers from Moscow and St. Petersburg more choice at a time when demand for beach holidays to Türkiye is rising.
For the wider travel market, the announcement points to another season of strong traffic into Antalya, one of the country’s busiest leisure destinations. The mix of charter flights, package holidays and established resort infrastructure continues to make the city a major draw for overseas visitors.
