Turkish Airlines has been named Europe’s most punctual airline for June 2026, while Pegasus Airlines finished third in the regional ranking, according to new industry data.
The Cirium On-Time Performance report said Turkish Airlines operated 35,249 flights in June and achieved an on-time arrival rate of 84.26%. SAS placed second, followed by Pegasus, Vueling and Austrian Airlines.
The results underline Türkiye’s strong position in European aviation operations, with both major Turkish carriers appearing in the top three.
Turkish Airlines also ranked inside the global top 10. In the worldwide table, Saudia led the way with an on-time arrival rate of 92.38%.
Cirium’s monthly report is closely watched by airlines, airports and travellers because it tracks how often flights arrive on schedule. A high ranking can be a sign of strong operational management, efficient turnaround times and better resilience against delays.
For Turkish Airlines, the latest result adds to its reputation as one of the region’s most reliable carriers. For Pegasus, third place in Europe is another indicator of the airline’s growing operational performance on busy short-haul routes.
The ranking also comes as punctuality remains one of the most important factors for travellers choosing airlines. Delays can affect connections, holiday plans and business trips, making on-time performance a key benchmark in the industry.
The June 2026 figures place Türkiye’s two largest airlines ahead of several well-known European competitors, reinforcing the country’s role in continental aviation.
