Hilton’s Two Market-Leading Brands Debut in Europe in Istanbul

The globally renowned hotel chain, Hilton, has announced a signed agreement to introduce its two leading brands, Embassy Suites by Hilton and Home2 Suites by Hilton, to Turkiye. These two brands will commence operations in Europe for the first time.

The upcoming Embassy Suites by Hilton Istanbul Mecidiyekoy and Home2 Suites by Hilton Istanbul Financial Center will form integral parts of Hilton’s impressive portfolio in Turkey. Highlighting the company’s commitment to the Turkish market, Simon Vincent, Hilton’s Executive Vice President and President of Europe, Middle East and Africa, stated that the new hotels will serve as significant milestones for Hilton’s presence in Turkey.

Embassy Suites by Hilton will be located in Mecidiyekoy, within the Torun Center, owned by Torunlar REIC. Set to open in 2024, the hotel will feature 33 studio rooms and 77 single-bed suites. Positioned within the mixed-use Torun Center, which includes offices, residences, and retail stores, the hotel will offer easy access to the Bosphorus Bridge and public transportation, in addition to hosting a restaurant and three meeting rooms.

On the other hand, Home2 Suites by Hilton will be situated on the Asian side of Istanbul, within the Istanbul Financial Center. Operated by IFC Hotel and Office Businesses Inc., this hotel is also set to open in 2024 and will provide 119 rooms. The hotel will cater to long-term stays with amenities such as suites with kitchens, free breakfast, and a multifunctional lobby area.

Considering that Turkey already hosts 75 Hilton hotels and is positioned as Hilton’s fourth-largest market, the introduction of these two new brands underscores Hilton’s commitment to and the growth potential in this region. Hilton will continue to expand its Turkish market with the upcoming Canopy by Hilton hotel in Taksim, the agreement for which was announced in 2022.
