International Runtalya Marathon Ends

Turkish Mediterranean city of Antalya hosted the 17th Runtalya Marathon. The marathon, which includes a 3-day-long sporting festival along with entertainment, consists of four events; handicapped, marathon, half marathon and 10km team run.

Runtalya Marathon 2022 is held on Sunday, March 6. Turkish athlete Uzeyir Soylemez came victorious in men’s marathon while Elmina Saksi of Sweden won the women’s race.

Ukrainian Daryna Moskalenko was the winner in women’s 10,000 meters and her fellow countryman Yegor Martynenko sealed the victory in the men’s category.

Runtalya Marathon started first in the name as Runtalya International Antalya Marathon with 850 people to create a difference in the Turkish Tourism and contribute the winter tourism since its start in March 2006.

Runtalya Marathon which is shown interest by the Amateur runners who have small competition experience besides it addresses to the pro runners; is an ideal race with its features like being the season’s starting race and its seasonal features. In addition to ıt’s sportive features; it is the biggest lifestyle marathon and 3 days long sports festival with many part activities and entertainments.
