Following the last year’s launch of first direct flights between Kyiv (Ukraine) and Izmir (Turkey) by Pegasus Airlines, now Ukraine International Airlines is also starting on the same route with even better flight schedule.
Effective June 15, 2019, UIA passengers will be able to fly non-stop from Kyiv to Izmir. Flights between Kyiv and Izmir will be operated daily by medium-haul Boeing 737-800 NG and Embraer aircraft.
While Pegasus is flying late night between the two cities (departs Izmir at 23.50 – arrives Kyiv 02.15, return flight departs Kyiv at 02.55 and arrives Izmir 05.15), UIA’s flight schedule is more convenient for many travelers as the flights are at day time. Pegasus flies to Kyiv’s Zhulyany Airport. UIA flies to Kyiv’s Boryspil Airport.
