West Virginia’s 2026 draw game additions, explained

2026 has already brought changes to the West Virginia Lottery’s draw game lineup. From a brand new national game to updated iPLAY features, there’s more to explore than you might reckon.

The full list of new draw games in 2026 available through the West Virginia Lottery sits alongside a strong existing lineup – and the additions this year have changed what daily play looks like for West Virginians.

Millionaire for Life™

The biggest addition to the WV Lottery draw game roster this year is Millionaire for Life™, which launched on February 22, 2026. It draws seven days a week – every single day – and the top prize is $1,000,000 a year for life. There’s also a second-tier prize of $100,000 a year for life.

To play, you pick five numbers from one to 58 and one Millionaire Ball™ number from one to five. Tickets cost $5 per play, and there are nine ways to win in total. The seven lower prize tiers are set cash prizes, ranging from $8 up to $7,500. It’s worth noting that the top two prizes are annuity-based, with a 20-year guaranteed payout. A cash option is available if you’d prefer a lump sum – $18,000,000 for the top prize and $2,200,000 for the second tier.

Millionaire for Life™ replaced two existing national “for life” games – Lucky for Life and Cash4Life – both of which held their final drawings on February 21, 2026. The new game brings a higher top prize and a daily draw schedule that neither predecessor offered.

You can play Millionaire for Life™ in-store and online through iPLAY.

What else is new on iPLAY in 2026?

Alongside the new game, iPLAY added Jackpot Threshold Auto Renewal – also known as Jackpot Chase – earlier this year. It’s a subscription-based feature that automatically purchases a ticket for your chosen draw game when the jackpot reaches a threshold you set yourself. It’s a “set it and forget it” approach if you want to make sure you’re in when a jackpot hits a level that matters to you.

Jackpot Chase is available on POWERBALL©, MEGA MILLIONS®, and LOTTO AMERICA©. It can be combined with the existing Auto-Renewal feature for consistent play across every draw. Both are managed directly through your iPLAY account.

PayPal was also added as a payment option on iPLAY this year, alongside player-controlled deposit limits, giving you more control over how you manage your budget when playing online.

Playing in-store and online

All draw games on iPLAY can be played in-store and online through the West Virginia Lottery’s official platform. The WVL app is available through the App Store for iPhone users, and Android users can download it directly from the WVL website.

Every ticket purchased supports the Mountain State – contributing to Education, Seniors, Tourism, and Veterans across West Virginia. Play within your means, and if you need support, call 1-800-GAMBLER.
