A week of elite golf at Gloria Özaltın Championship 2025 in Belek brought together 140 players from 11 countries to compete at one of Turkey’s most iconic golf venues, the Gloria Golf Club. The eighth edition of this prestigious event unfolded from April 13–20 and showcased high-level competition, heartfelt tributes, and memorable experiences on and off the course.
Held at Gloria Hotels & Resorts, home to Turkey’s only 45-hole golf facility, the championship welcomed players to a nature-rich setting that blended sport with serenity. The event unfolded across four distinct categories: the Öznur Özdemir Özaltın Memorial Trophy, Nurettin Özaltın Memorial Trophy, Sebahat Özaltın Ladies Tournament, and Nuri Özaltın Memorial Trophy for men’s individual play. Each category honored members of the Özaltın family, weaving emotion and tradition into each round of golf.
The Champions of Gloria
After a week of spirited matches and international camaraderie, the champions emerged. Manfred Linder claimed the Öznur Özdemir Özaltın Memorial Trophy, while Nicola Cascini earned the Nurettin Özaltın Memorial Trophy. In the men’s individual category, the Nuri Özaltın Memorial Trophy went to Paul Kester, and Antonia Buchert triumphed in the Sebahat Özaltın Ladies Tournament.
Beyond the scorecards, the Gloria Özaltın Championship proved to be a celebration of legacy. Hosted at a club known for its lush greens and Mediterranean charm, the competition honored the deep personal ties the Özaltın family has to the sport. Each trophy carried a name, a memory, and a legacy that made victory even more meaningful.
More Than a Tournament
The event also offered players and guests a lineup of side activities, adding a layer of leisure and luxury. These included the lively “Celebrity Professional Challenge,” a BBQ social event, golf-themed chats, and several surprise experiences designed to create a sense of community among participants.
All of this culminated on April 19 with a dazzling gala night and award ceremony. The evening balanced heartfelt speeches with celebration, marking both athletic achievement and personal tributes. The event once again proved that Gloria Özaltın Championship is not just a golf competition—it’s a living story of unity, heritage, and passion.
