Teams to Test Gen3 Evo Cars at Circuit Ricardo Tormo
The pre-season program at the Valencia circuit will allow teams to continue developing their Gen3 Evo cars, the latest evolution of Formula E’s all-electric race machines. Across five days of testing, engineers, mechanics, and drivers will fine-tune performance and reliability in preparation for the start of the new season.
All 11 teams are expected to take part in the sessions, giving fans a preview of the championship’s grid and machinery for 2025/2026. The open access days on October 30 and 31 will also include exclusive activities such as Pit Walks, giving attendees a rare opportunity to step into the pit lane area and observe operations up close.
The Circuit Ricardo Tormo will organize two Pit Walk sessions each day. On Thursday, October 30, fans can enter the pit lane from 13:00 to 14:00, while Friday’s Pit Walk will take place from 12:30 to 13:30. These sessions will allow the public to watch mechanics and engineers at work as they prepare the electric cars for testing.
Women’s Test Promotes Female Talent in Motorsport
In addition to the team testing program, Formula E will host the second edition of its Women’s Test on Friday, October 31. The initiative, led by the FIA and the championship’s organizers, aims to promote female participation in international motorsport by providing track time for selected women drivers.
During the Women’s Test, drivers chosen by the official teams will have the opportunity to complete training runs in the Gen3 Evo electric race cars. The goal is to support their development and integration into the competitive environment of Formula E and other high-level series. The event represents a continued effort to improve diversity and inclusion within professional racing.
According to the Circuit Ricardo Tormo, the open test days are designed to make elite motorsport more accessible and engaging for fans, while showcasing Formula E’s innovation and commitment to sustainability.
