The Valencia MotoGP finale will now take place on 27, 28, and 29 November, after a one-week delay due to a reorganisation of the MotoGP calendar linked to the situation in the Middle East.
The Motul Grand Prix of the Comunitat Valenciana will continue to host the final round of the MotoGP World Championship at Circuit Ricardo Tormo.
The adjustment comes after changes to the position of the Qatar Grand Prix in the championship schedule. As a result, the Valencia race weekend moves from its original slot but remains the closing event of the MotoGP season.
Fans who have already purchased tickets for the event do not need to take any additional action. All tickets issued for the originally scheduled dates will remain valid for the new race weekend, even if the printed date on the ticket reflects the earlier schedule.
For spectators who are unable to attend on the new dates, Circuit Ricardo Tormo will open a refund request period between 8 April and 22 April. Requests submitted during that window will be guaranteed a full refund.
The circuit says it aims to make the adjustment as smooth as possible for teams, riders and fans attending the season finale. The venue in Cheste has traditionally hosted the final race of the MotoGP calendar and remains a key stop in the championship.
Nicolás Collado, Director General of Circuit Ricardo Tormo, said the organisation aims to “facilitate the adaptation to this change in the calendar as much as possible to the new situation”.
He added that it is important to “maintain the final round of the championship at the Circuit” and stressed that the Cheste track “remains ready to offer teams, riders and fans a season finale worthy of MotoGP”.
Circuit Ricardo Tormo thanked fans for their understanding and reaffirmed its commitment to hosting the event that traditionally closes the MotoGP World Championship season.
