Would You Fly a Snoopy Plane? STARLUX Brings Back Peanuts Flights

STARLUX Airlines is bringing back its Snoopy-themed flights from July 1 through December 31, expanding the seasonal collaboration across nearly all routes in its network. The airline said the themed experience will be available on all STARLUX flights except departures from Los Angeles and Ontario, as well as aircraft involved in the STARLUX AIRSORAYAMA art project.

The new campaign, titled “Across Seasons, Across the World,” introduces redesigned onboard items inspired by the changing seasons. Boarding passes, baggage tags, welcome screens, tissues, paper cups, and other in-flight amenities will feature Snoopy and other Peanuts characters in seasonal travel scenes.

The collaboration marks the third year of the partnership between STARLUX Airlines and the Peanuts franchise, which first appeared in the 1950 comic strip. Previous editions included the “Sky Adventure” and “Space Journey” themes.

This year’s campaign will roll out in two stages: “Spring and Summer” followed by “Autumn and Winter.” According to the airline, Snoopy and his friends will appear in designs showing them traveling through different seasonal landscapes across the world.

Select onboard items, including tissues, paper cups, and boarding passes, will feature two separate designs that will be randomly distributed during flights. The airline said the approach is intended to create a collectible experience for passengers.

STARLUX Airlines said the Snoopy-themed flights launched in 2024 received a strong response from travelers in Taiwan and overseas markets. The airline added that some passengers booked flights specifically to experience the themed cabins and collect the limited-edition items.

To coincide with the relaunch, STARLUX Shop and the airline’s in-flight duty-free service will gradually introduce new themed merchandise starting in July. Products will include luggage tag sets, tumblers, shopping bags, and pin collections.

The airline said it plans to continue expanding collaborations with entertainment and art brands as part of its passenger experience strategy. Alongside the Snoopy flights, STARLUX Airlines is also preparing to launch the STARLUX AIRSORAYAMA project later this year in partnership with Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama.

STARLUX Airlines said the future onboard experience will combine themed entertainment and aviation design, giving passengers access to both character-inspired flights and art-focused aircraft interiors.
