Opened first in 1920, the historic Lutetia hotel, where Ernest Hemingway and Pablo Picasso once stayed has reopened in July after a four-year restoration and refurbishment project. Paris’ only grand hotel on the Left Bank, the traditional home of writers, painters, poets, and random bohemians, reopened with a spa, indoor pool and jazz bar with a frescoed ceiling. The luxury hotel now offers 184 rooms, including 47 suites, down from its original 233 rooms.

Hôtel Brach Paris (Opened: October 2018)
Group Evok Hotels Collection opened Hôtel Brach Paris. Designed by Philippe Starck, the hotel is set in a quiet, residential corner of the 16th arrondissement on the site of a former postal sorting center. It has 59 rooms (including seven suites) with terraces. The suites have tree-lined terraces and Norwegian baths, as well as a view of the rooftops of the city and some even looking over the Eiffel Tower. The hotel has a sports club with a swimming pool, extra-large hot tub, hammam, salt grotto, and sauna.
For dining, the property has a 160-seat restaurant, a cocktail bar and a real local store within Hôtel Brach managed by pastry chef and Meilleur Ouvrier de France 2011 Yann Brys.
Courtyard by Marriott Paris Gare de Lyon (Opened: November 2018)
Courtyard by Marriott has opened its sixth property in the heart of Paris, ideally situated opposite the Gare de Lyon train station, which serves as both a domestic and international travel hub for millions of passengers each year. Housed in a 19-story tower, Courtyard by Marriott Paris Gare de Lyon offers exceptional views over the city and its emblematic sights. Kitchen & Bar proposes an all-day dining experience based on a Fresh, French and Friendly concept. Guests can fuel themselves for the day ahead with traditional French breakfast items such breads and pastries accompanied by homemade jams and freshly squeezed orange juice, whilst all-day menu items range from bar snacks to hot dishes and desserts. The bar menu caters to all tastes and features local craft beers, as well as a wide selection of regional French wines.

La Planque Hotel (Opened: November 2018)
La Planque Hotel is a new boutique hotel in the Belleville district. The 36-guestroom boutique hotel’s building was formerly a sweet shop.

Hôtel de Berri, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Paris (Opened: December 2018)
The Luxury Collection, part of Marriott International, Inc. has opened Hôtel de Berri, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Paris. Hôtel de Berri features 75 guestrooms, including 35 suites, as well as Italian restaurant Le Schiap and cocktail bar Le Bizazz. The hotel’s preserved 3,000 square meters landscaped garden is a precious legacy of the building’s illustrious past.
Situated on Rue de Berri, one of the most sought-after addresses in Paris that has been home to aristocrats, royals and prominent leaders in French society since the 19th century, Hôtel de Berri draws inspiration from the trailblazers of the French Decorative Arts period including painters, designers and stylists from Coco Chanel to Salvador Dalí, with interior designs reflecting the “Art de Vivre” ethos made famous in the heart of Paris.
Grand Powers Paris (Opened: January 2019)
Hotel Powers, which closed in July 2017 for a renovation, reopened as the Grand Powers Paris, a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. Set in the 8th arrondissement near the Champs-Élysées, the new 5-star hotel offers a virtuosity of balance between heritage and invention. The 50 rooms and suites offer a soft and cozy atmosphere, timeless, warm and bright. Its rooms and suites feature high ceilings and large windows – some with balconies and Eiffel Tower views.

Staycity Aparthotels Paris, Marne la Vallée (Opened: August 2019)
Staycity Aparthotels Paris, Marne la Vallée is conveniently located just 35 minutes by car from central Paris and 10 minutes from Parc Disneyland® Paris. It’s also close to both the Val d’Europe RER Station and the terminus Marne-la-Vallée-Chessy with a TGV from Charles de Gaulle airport to Marne-la-Vallée-Chessy taking just 12 minutes.
The new-build property, built on a four-hectare greenfield site, is scheduled to open this August 1st, offering studio and one-bed apartments as well as 12 four-bed villas sleeping up to 16 people and 10 five-bed villas sleeping up to 20 people. Prices start from €99 for a studio and €385 for a villa.

The opening of Hyatt Place Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport and Hyatt House Paris Charles De Gaulle Airport will mark the introduction of Hyatt’s select service brands in France, which will bring the total number of Hyatt-branded hotels in the country to 10.
Hyatt Place Charles De Gaulle Airport will bring the brand’s intuitive design, casual atmosphere, spacious guestrooms with distinct sleeping and living areas, and practical amenities, such as free Wi-Fi and 24-hour food offerings, to guests looking for a relaxing and uncomplicated place to pause before beginning the next leg of their journey. Hyatt House Charles De Gaulle Airport will offer apartment-style suites with fully equipped kitchens, providing guests with the spaces and places that help make them feel more like home. Together, the two hotels will offer an array of shared services and amenities that meet the needs of transient and extended-stay guests.

Hotel Bvlgari Paris (Opening: 2020)
Luxury brand Bvlgari Hotel and Resorts will open its eighth property in Paris in 2020. The property will be located on Avenue George V, within the so-called Triangle d’Or – the area formed by the intersections of Avenue George V with the Champs Elysees and Avenue Montaigne.
