Hilton Opens First Curio Collection Hotel in Vienna

Hilton opens first Curio Collection hotel in Vienna with the debut of Hotel Astoria Vienna, marking a stylish new chapter for one of the city’s most iconic properties.

Located on the famed Kärntner Straße in the historic 1st district, this Art Deco gem offers travelers a luxurious stay just steps away from St. Stephen’s Cathedral and the State Opera House.

Introducing Hotel Astoria Vienna

Originally opened in 1912, Hotel Astoria Vienna has long been a symbol of Viennese hospitality. Now part of the Curio Collection by Hilton, the hotel has undergone an extensive renovation by VERKEHRSBUERO, blending its rich history with a fresh, modern flair. With 125 rooms, including one Beletage Suite and seven Junior Suites, the hotel welcomes guests to experience personalized comfort and elegance in the heart of the Austrian capital.

The Grand Salon, redesigned for a refined breakfast experience, serves classic dishes such as Kaiserschmarrn and Fiaker goulash in buffet style. A highlight of the new design is the Astoria Bar, located in the hotel’s elegant lobby, which offers local wines, Austrian beers, and vintage cocktails like the Garter of the Gracious Lady and Kiss With Love—both based on original historic recipes.
