DoubleTree by Hilton Karaka, Hilton’s fourth DoubleTree by Hilton in New Zealand, opened its doors on Saturday 26 March 2022.

The hotel, owned by New Zealand Bloodstock and designed by Pacific Architecture, boasts 122 well-appointed guest rooms and suites and state-of-the-art facilities set amongst the rural charm of Karaka, only 20 kilometers south of Auckland’s central business district.

For conferences, seminars and banquets, guests can choose from two fully equipped meeting rooms with a convertible theatre-style space that caters to up to 180 guests. Sharing the grounds with the New Zealand Bloodstock sales pavilion allows flexibility for private and outdoor events, which are held in conjunction with their facilities, which can accommodate up to 600 guests.
Food and Beverage Options

Karaka boasts strong pastoral roots and is steeped in history with a proud reputation of high-quality local produce. Ethereal | Artisan Kitchen, the hotel’s signature restaurant fronted by Chef Mark Southon, has partnered with local suppliers and aims to complement the quality of the local produce with a paddock to plate menu ethos, highlighting seasonal premium ingredients. The restaurant features an outdoor terrace and an open-plan kitchen with a marble chef’s table to help showcase the skills and pageantry of the kitchen brigade.
