Frontier Airlines has launched eight routes previously operated by Spirit Airlines, expanding its domestic network while preserving low fare travel options across key markets in the United States. The new services began operating on July 5 and July 6, with introductory one way fares starting from $39.
The expansion covers routes linking major cities including Boston, Dallas, Detroit, Las Vegas, Orlando, New Orleans, Memphis, Philadelphia, Richmond and Fort Lauderdale. Frontier Airlines said the move will help maintain affordable air travel for consumers following Spirit’s withdrawal from the routes.
The airline’s latest network growth comes during the busy summer travel season and reflects its strategy to strengthen its position in the US low cost market. Several of the new routes connect major leisure destinations with large metropolitan areas that generate strong year round demand.

Eight routes replace former Spirit services
The newly introduced routes include daily flights between Boston Logan International Airport and Orlando, Dallas Fort Worth and New Orleans, Detroit and Fort Lauderdale, Detroit and Philadelphia, Fort Lauderdale and Detroit, New Orleans and Dallas Fort Worth, Philadelphia and Detroit, plus Las Vegas and Detroit.
Frontier has also launched four weekly flights between Las Vegas and Kansas City in both directions. Orlando gains additional three weekly services to Memphis and Richmond, with return flights operating on the same schedule.
Promotional one way fares begin at $39 on the Dallas Fort Worth to New Orleans route. Other introductory fares include $49 between Detroit and Fort Lauderdale, $59 between Orlando and Richmond, $69 on routes including Boston to Orlando, Orlando to Memphis and Las Vegas to Kansas City, and $79 on services linking Detroit with Philadelphia and Las Vegas.
The airline said the promotional fares are available for purchase until 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on July 12, 2026, for selected nonstop travel between Aug. 3 and Sept. 2, 2026. Availability varies by market and travel date.
