Frontier Airlines has expanded its loyalty program, allowing members to redeem miles for popular travel add-ons such as baggage, seat selection, and priority boarding. The new benefit, available immediately, enhances the FRONTIER Miles program and adds more flexibility and value for frequent flyers.
Members can now use miles for bundled packages that combine travel extras with cost-saving benefits. Bookings made through FlyFrontier.com can be redeemed for one of three bundles: Economy, Premium, or Business, starting from as low as 2,000 miles. The bundles offer various combinations of carry-on and checked bags, seat upgrades, and waived change or cancellation fees.
Three Bundles Designed for More Choice
The new redemption options start with the Economy bundle at 2,000 miles, which includes a carry-on bag, standard seat selection, and no change or cancel fees. The Premium bundle, from 4,000 miles, offers premium seat selection in addition to a carry-on bag. The Business bundle, beginning at 8,000 miles, includes two checked bags up to 50 pounds each, UpFront Plus seating, and no change or cancel fees.
Bobby Schroeter, Chief Commercial Officer at Frontier Airlines, said: “We’re redefining what travelers can expect from value-driven air travel. This new redemption option gives FRONTIER Miles members more choice, more flexibility, and more value — from award flights starting at just 5,000 miles to bundles with bags, seats, and more starting at only 2,000 miles. The most rewarding loyalty program in the sky just got even better.”
Part of ‘The New Frontier’ Initiative
The new miles benefit is part of Frontier’s broader customer experience initiative, ‘The New Frontier’, which has introduced major service upgrades across the airline. Among recent changes are UpFront Plus seating with extra space and guaranteed empty middle seats in the first two rows, as well as unlimited companion travel for Elite Platinum and Elite Diamond members.
Frontier also plans to introduce First Class seating in early 2026, combining more comfort and space at affordable fares. Members of the loyalty program earn 10 miles for every dollar spent on Frontier products, with increased multipliers for Elite status levels. Family pooling remains available, allowing households to share miles easily and redeem faster for flights or bundles.
The airline’s partnership with Barclays through the FRONTIER Airlines World Mastercard® offers another avenue for travelers to earn up to five miles per dollar spent, along with new-member bonuses and faster progress toward Elite status. The card can be used for everyday purchases to accelerate earning toward flights, bundles, and future upgrades.
With the new redemption bundles, Frontier aims to boost engagement in its loyalty program and position itself as a more flexible and customer-friendly option within the U.S. low-cost carrier market.
