JetBlue is expanding its footprint in the Sunshine State and beyond this winter, adding new flights to Florida’s Vero Beach and Daytona Beach while boosting connections to the Caribbean and Latin America. The airline’s latest route additions strengthen its Boston and New York focus cities, offering travelers more nonstop options to sandy shores and tropical escapes.
First-Time Service to Vero Beach and Return to Daytona Beach
For the first time, JetBlue will land in Vero Beach, launching daily, year-round flights from both Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) starting December 11, 2025. Introductory fares will begin at $69 one way. Just a week earlier, on December 4, JetBlue will return to Daytona Beach with daily service from BOS and JFK, offering fares starting at $59. Both routes cater to Northeastern travelers seeking lesser-known Florida beach towns with easy access and smaller crowds.
New Links Between Florida and the Northeast
JetBlue is also expanding service within Florida and to the Northeast. Tampa (TPA) will gain a seasonal connection to Long Island MacArthur Airport (ISP) four times a week starting December 19, while Fort Myers (RSW) will see three weekly flights to ISP beginning December 18. These additions complement existing JetBlue service from Long Island to Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and West Palm Beach, providing more flexibility for travelers looking to swap cold winters for warm Gulf Coast days.
Caribbean Connections from Florida
Two new routes from Florida to the Dominican Republic will launch this December. Tampa travelers can head directly to Punta Cana (PUJ) from December 18, while Fort Lauderdale (FLL) passengers will gain access to Santiago de los Caballeros (STI) starting December 13. Both will operate daily during peak season, with introductory fares starting at $139, giving Floridians more direct access to the Caribbean’s white sands and rich culture.
Boston’s Big Leap to Warm Destinations
From its Boston base, JetBlue is significantly increasing its Latin America and Caribbean service this winter. Beginning December 18, the airline will fly daily to St. Thomas (U.S. Virgin Islands), Liberia (Costa Rica), St. Maarten, and Nassau (Bahamas). Seasonal boosts include a second Saturday flight to Grand Cayman from December 20 and to Bridgetown, Barbados starting January 10, 2026. These expansions will make JetBlue the leading carrier between Boston and warm-weather destinations this winter, with nearly double the number of seats to Florida and quadruple the flights to Latin America and the Caribbean compared to its closest competitor.
“Florida continues to be a place JetBlue’s unique combination of low fares and great service resonates,” said Dave Jehn, JetBlue’s vice president of network planning and airline partnerships. “Whether it’s customers in the Northeast looking for a warm getaway or Floridians traveling north, we’re excited to bring more choices and better service to these markets.”
With a mix of new and returning destinations, JetBlue’s winter 2025 schedule opens more doors for travelers to discover quieter Florida coastlines, vibrant Caribbean islands, and Latin American adventure hubs — all with the convenience of nonstop flights from major East Coast cities.
