Dublin's Mellows Bridge

JetBlue Expands Transatlantic Network: Dublin Flights Now Available

JetBlue Airways has officially announced the launch of its new, nonstop flights connecting New York and Boston with Dublin, marking a significant expansion of its transatlantic services.

Starting today, the daily summer-seasonal service from New York’s JFK and Boston’s Logan International Airport to Dublin Airport will run until September 30, 2024, showcasing JetBlue’s role as a key player in offering affordable and high-quality service on popular routes.

Since initiating transatlantic flights to London in 2021, JetBlue has been redefining the market with its customer-centric approach, now including Dublin alongside Paris and Amsterdam in its European destinations. The airline’s continued expansion, including upcoming seasonal flights to Edinburgh and more frequencies to Paris, represents its growth ambition in Europe.

JetBlue’s CEO, Joanna Geraghty, highlights the launch into Dublin as the start of a new era, promising low fares and exceptional service between Ireland and the Northeast. This initiative aims to cater to both business and leisure travelers with JetBlue’s Mint and core services, perfectly timed for Saint Patrick’s Day celebrations and the summer holidays.

U.S. travelers, who make up nearly 20% of all overseas tourism to Ireland, have long awaited Dublin’s inclusion in JetBlue’s destinations. The airline’s commitment to connecting its Northeast focus cities with Dublin meets a significant demand, offering seamless connections to a wide range of destinations across the U.S., the Caribbean, and Latin America.

Dublin Airport and Tourism Ireland have expressed their enthusiasm for JetBlue’s new direct routes, anticipating their popularity among travelers. The new services are expected to enhance the already strong business ties between Ireland and the U.S., providing more choices and value to passengers.

JetBlue is set to transform transatlantic travel with its Airbus A321neo featuring the Mint experience. The Mint service includes fully lie-flat private suites and a dining experience in collaboration with Delicious Hospitality Group, aiming to offer the finest inflight dining experience.

The core experience on JetBlue flights, targeting those who prefer economy but desire quality service, promises the most legroom in coach and a menu crafted specifically for the A321neo with Mint aircraft. Innovative meal options cater to diverse tastes, ensuring a unique culinary experience for all passengers.

JetBlue ensures that all passengers remain connected and entertained throughout their flight with fast, free, and unlimited Fly-Fi and a selection of Irish entertainment to celebrate the new route. This includes movies and stories about Ireland, enhancing the travel experience and celebrating Irish culture onboard.
