The Four Seasons Yacht is making waves with its new yacht marina concept, unlike anything currently afloat. Set to launch in 2026, the first vessel in the Four Seasons Yachts collection introduces a groundbreaking transverse marina—an expansive, dual-sided platform that immerses guests directly at sea level for unparalleled access to water-based experiences.
This marina experience stretches across both the port and starboard sides of the yacht, opening up to 676 square metres (7,275 square feet) of space dedicated to relaxation, recreation, and Riviera-style indulgence. From watersports to wellness sessions and cocktail hours with ocean views, the marina has been designed as a true floating lifestyle destination.
Marina Days: A Floating Resort Concept
On most Caribbean and Mediterranean itineraries, the yacht will feature “Marina Days”—specially designated stops in secluded bays and picturesque anchorages like Mayreau Island, Soufrière Bay, the Gulf of Squillace, and Monte Argentario. These are full-service, anchored experiences designed to let guests unwind, explore, and engage directly with the sea.
When the yacht isn’t sailing, guests can begin their day with sunrise yoga on deck followed by fresh smoothies and guided meditation. As the sun climbs, the space transforms into a buzzing social hub complete with panoramic sea views, a full-service bar, and luxurious lounge chairs surrounding a sea pool nestled within the retractable marina platform.
Daily Marina Activities Include:
- Electric hydrofoil rides
- Water biking and inflatable waterboarding
- Traditional kayaking and paddleboarding
- Pedalboards for shoreline exploration
- Protected sea pool for relaxed swimming
Tim Littley, Vice President of Itinerary and Planning at Marc-Henry Cruise Holdings LTD, explains: “Guests will explore remarkable destinations, beautiful bays and hidden coves while enjoying adventures on kayaks, paddleboards, and superyacht water toys that let them glide effortlessly across the water.”
Riviera-Inspired Design and Architecture
The transverse marina’s architectural innovation departs from traditional aft-positioned marinas. With two retractable platforms and interior lounge space crafted by Tillberg Design of Sweden, it offers exceptional flexibility, sea access, and stability. The entire area spans two decks and supports up to 105 guests at a time.
Fredrik Johansson, Partner and Executive Director of Tillberg Design of Sweden, shares the inspiration behind the marina’s aesthetic: “Our design focuses on creating a seamless connection with the sea, enhancing both aesthetic appeal and functionality. Inspired by the dining terraces in the South of France, we aimed to bring that atmosphere of casual elegance aboard the yacht.”
Marina Design Highlights:
