Is Justin Bieber Going on Tour? What His Coachella Exit Means for Music Travellers

Justin Bieber has fuelled intense speculation about a return to touring after closing his Coachella 2026 headline set with the words “See y’all soon,” prompting a wave of anticipation among fans and the wider music tourism industry.

No dates have been confirmed, but a series of coordinated signals have placed a potential Swag World Tour firmly on the global travel radar.

Bieber headlined the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Indio, California across two weekends on 11 and 18 April 2026, marking his biggest live performances since he cancelled the Justice World Tour in September 2022 due to a Ramsay Hunt syndrome diagnosis.

The Coachella sets drew guests including Billie Eilish, SZA, Big Sean, Tems and Wizkid, sent 21 of his songs into Spotify’s global top 200 and pushed Bieber to number one on the platform’s global top artist chart.

Tour Signals Multiply After Coachella Exit

Within hours of his Weekend 2 performance on 18 April, the tour section of Bieber’s official website was quietly refreshed to display a prompt inviting fans to register their email address to be notified when new dates are announced. A newly verified X account under the handle @swagworldtour also surfaced, sharing cryptic posts referencing a “surprise coming soon” and linking directly to the artist’s official site. The account has since confirmed it is not affiliated with Bieber’s team, though its appearance has not dampened fan expectations.

Speaking on Twitch last autumn, Bieber described a conventional tour as “super daunting” and indicated a preference for selective “spot dates” in specific cities rather than a commitment to a year-long arena run. That position leaves open the possibility of a curated series of major market appearances rather than a traditional global tour cycle, a format that analysts say would still carry significant travel demand given the size of his fanbase.

The Music Tourism Stakes

A Bieber tour announcement would land at a moment of rapid expansion for music tourism. The live events travel sector, which encompasses concert-driven destination trips, festival travel and fan itineraries built around artist performances, is among the fastest-growing segments within the broader travel economy, as explored in our in-depth report on the $267 billion music tourism industry set to boom by 2030.

Bieber’s two Coachella appearances alone demonstrated how a single artist performance can generate transnational travel movement, with fans travelling from across North America, Europe and beyond to the Indio, California site. A confirmed world tour, even one limited to spot dates in major cities, would activate travel bookings across every region it touches. As of 22 April 2026, neither Bieber nor his representatives have confirmed any tour dates.
