Tripadvisor has included three hotels in Türkiye in its 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Hotel Awards, highlighting the country’s continued strength across the luxury, family and boutique accommodation sectors.
The annual awards are based on guest reviews and ratings submitted to Tripadvisor between January and December 2025. The platform said fewer than 1% of its more than 8 million listings receive the “Best of the Best” distinction, making the rankings one of the travel industry’s most closely watched guest-driven hotel awards.
While no Turkish property entered the overall global top 25 hotels list, three hotels in Türkiye secured positions in major category rankings. These included Bof Hotels Uludag Ski & Luxury Resort All Inclusive, Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort, and White House Hotel Istanbul.
In the all-inclusive hotels category, Bof Hotels Uludag Ski & Luxury Resort All Inclusive ranked 16th globally. Located in the Uludağ mountain area of Bursa province, the resort is known for attracting winter tourism visitors and ski travellers, while also serving leisure guests year-round.
Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort achieved the strongest Turkish result by placing 5th in the family-friendly hotels category. The Belek-based resort on Türkiye’s Mediterranean coast has become internationally recognised for golf tourism, large-scale leisure facilities, private beach access and premium family holiday services.
In the boutique hotels section, White House Hotel Istanbul ranked 9th worldwide. Situated in Istanbul’s historic Sultanahmet district, the hotel is popular with international travellers seeking smaller-scale accommodation close to major landmarks including Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque and Topkapi Palace.
The overall global ranking was led by G.H. Universal Hotel in Bandung, Indonesia. Hotel Colline de France in Gramado, Brazil, ranked second, followed by Hotel Sporting Family Hospitality in Livigno, Italy. Other hotels featured in the worldwide top rankings included Royal Lancaster London, The Bryant Park Hotel in New York and Sant Jaume Design Hotel in Mallorca.
Tripadvisor said the awards reflect traveller experiences rather than editorial judging panels. The rankings cover multiple accommodation categories including luxury, family-friendly, all-inclusive, boutique and small hotels.
The 2026 results also highlighted the diversity of Türkiye’s tourism offering. A ski resort in Bursa, a Mediterranean golf and family resort in Antalya’s Belek region and a boutique city hotel in Istanbul each earned international recognition from travellers using the platform.
The recognition comes as Türkiye continues to strengthen its position in global tourism markets beyond traditional summer beach tourism. Industry observers say awards based on guest satisfaction and online reviews have become increasingly influential in shaping travel decisions and hotel reputations.
Tripadvisor announced the 2026 Travelers’ Choice Best of the Best Hotel winners on June 9, 2026, with rankings determined from millions of traveller reviews submitted during the previous year.
