As a Major Partner of the JFA, ANA will support the Japan national team’s domestic and international tours as well as participate in intiatives to raise awareness of social issues and contribute to the development of a sustainable society.
ANA supports the activities of various athletic organizations and individual athletes based on the belief that the attitude of athletes, both as a group and individually, to take on challenges and make unremitting efforts toward their goals are deeply rooted in ANA’s spirit.
ANA and JFA both recently celebrated milestone anniversaries, positioning the partnership for success over the next three years. ANA, coming from humble beginnings with just two helicopters, celebrated its 70th anniversary in December 2022. As Japan’s largest airline, ANA continues to pursue its dream of becoming the wings that connect people around the world. JFA, which celebrated its 100th anniversary in September 2021, also has big dreams. Chief among them is winning the FIFA World Cup by 2050.
“JFA hosts one of the most successful football leagues in Asia, and with the Japanese enthusiasm for football bringing together diverse connections and supportive communities, this partnership was the next step to expand ANA’s mission of “Uniting the World in Wonder,” said Shinichi Inoue, President and CEO of ANA.
“ANA is proud to support the JFA in their journey to winning the FIFA World Cup and looks forward to our collaborative endeavors which we hope will inspire our employees, customers, fans and society to celebrate diversity, enact positive change and take on new challenges.”
