LEGOLAND Discovery Center Dallas is offering teachers free admission throughout July as part of its annual Teacher Appreciation Days programme. The promotion runs until July 31, 2026, giving eligible educators complimentary entry and discounted tickets for family and friends at the indoor LEGO attraction in Grapevine, Texas.
Teachers can also purchase tickets for up to six accompanying guests at 30% off the standard admission price. To claim the offer, visitors must book online in advance and present a valid school ID or recent payslip when arriving at the attraction.
The limited-time promotion celebrates educators while encouraging families to visit one of the Dallas Fort Worth area’s most popular indoor attractions during the summer holidays. The attraction combines interactive play zones, rides, creative workshops and themed experiences designed for children.
“As much as I teach kids LEGO building tips, they teach me just as many amazing facts they’ve learned from their teachers about bugs, dinosaurs, spaceships, everything you can think of,” said Thad Bennett, Master Model Builder at LEGOLAND Discovery Center.
“Their faces light up each time, and teachers deserve a ton of credit for inspiring that love of learning, and life, in our kids. That’s why we love to host this special event!”
Discounts extend to family visits
Teacher Appreciation Days are open to eligible educators who reserve their free tickets online before visiting. In addition to complimentary admission, the attraction is allowing teachers to bring up to six guests at a reduced admission price, making the programme an affordable family outing during the school break.
LEGOLAND Discovery Center said the initiative forms part of its wider commitment to supporting education. Throughout the year, the attraction also provides schools with educational resources, classroom activities and discounted admission for organised field trips.
The indoor attraction features millions of LEGO bricks across interactive play zones, creative building areas, family rides and miniature city displays. It is designed primarily for families with young children and regularly hosts seasonal events tied to popular LEGO themes.
NINJAGO anniversary event begins this summer
Visitors arriving this month can also experience LEGO NINJAGO: The True NINJA Trials, a special event celebrating the franchise’s 15th anniversary. Running from July 9 through August 16, 2026, the programme introduces interactive challenges inspired by the world of LEGO NINJAGO.
Guests are invited to journey through the Whispering Woods, meet familiar heroes, battle elemental monsters and complete a series of hands-on brick-building activities. Experiences include mastering Spinjitzu techniques, building dragons to defend the forest and contributing to a collaborative elemental masters mosaic.
The event also features Creative Workshops hosted by the attraction’s Master Model Builder, giving visitors practical LEGO building tips while encouraging imaginative play.
Families can also watch the 4D film LEGO NINJAGO Masters of The 4th Dimension and participate in interactive training sessions where aspiring ninjas learn moves inspired by the popular LEGO characters.
The combination of Teacher Appreciation Days and the new NINJAGO anniversary celebration is expected to increase summer visitation as schools close for the holidays. Indoor attractions continue to be a popular choice for families in North Texas seeking climate-controlled entertainment during the region’s hottest months.
Located in Grapevine, LEGOLAND Discovery Center Dallas remains one of the area’s leading family attractions, offering year-round experiences that combine creativity, education and entertainment through the LEGO brand. The latest promotions reinforce its focus on rewarding educators while introducing visitors to new themed experiences throughout the summer season.
