Air Seychelles to Add New Flights to Tel Aviv

Travel demand from Israel to Seychelles is increasing and as a result, the flag carrier of Seychelles announced additional flights.

Air Seychelles will operate additional flights between Seychelles and Tel Aviv starting from April 2023.

Besides the normal twice-weekly commercial flights, additional flights have been added to meet the heavy demand along with charters from Tel Aviv to Mauritius and Maldives.

In the vibrant city of Tel Aviv, Acting Chief Executive Officer Sandy Benoiton, Chief Commercial Officer Charles Johnson, Sales Manager Crystal Abrams and Sales & Marketing Executive Franchesca Vital represented Air Seychelles at the 29th edition of the IMTM (International Mediterranean Tourism Market) Expo over 14th -15th February.

Dubbed as “a true market place for Mediterranean travel” the IMTM attracted a large scale of visitors and travel trade professionals. The national carrier’s presence proved a great opportunity as it was able to establish contacts and remained firm as the airline of choice for travelers in Israel.

During the upcoming Passover holidays in April, Air Seychelles is scheduled to operate over 26 flights between Seychelles and Tel Aviv carrying over 2000 Israeli visitors to the island. Besides the normal twice-weekly commercial flights, additional flights to Seychelles to meet the heavy demand have been added along with charters from Tel Aviv to Mauritius and Maldives.

Speaking on the importance of attending such trade fairs, Acting Chief Executive Officer, Sandy Benoiton commented ‘it’s a great opportunity for us to represent Seychelles in the Israeli marketplace. Israelis now have more destinations to choose from than ever before, and solidifying new contracts and meeting with existing partners reaps benefits for a whole year. Air Seychelles has firmly become the carrier of choice to the Indian Ocean islands for Israelis, and our intention is to maintain our market share on the route despite growing competition from other carriers”.
