Minor Hotels is set to welcome guests to a vibrant line-up of new and renewed properties in the Middle East and Africa in 2026.
The openings of the Tivoli and Avani resorts in Bahrain in Q4 2026 mark the group’s debut in the Kingdom and the group’s Middle East expansion, which will also see the debut of the Tivoli brand in Oman. The luxurious Anantara Kafue River Zambia Tented Camp in Zambia will open in Q2, 2026, and the Anantara Dubai Downtown Hotel is undergoing transformation and will reopen in Q1, 2026.

Openings in Africa and Middle East
Anantara Kafue River Zambia Tented Camp – Zambia
Anticipated Opening: Q2 2026
Anantara’s first tented camp will immerse guests deep in the heart of Kafue National Park, Zambia’s largest and oldest reserve, home to over 500 bird species. This unique Anantara Kafue River Zambia Tented Camp, situated between two islands and elevated 3.5 metres on timber platforms, is carefully designed to promote the park’s heritage while preserving natural water flow and allowing wildlife to roam freely beneath.
Its interiors blend contemporary elegance with local authenticity, using organic textures and mid-century accents. The camp features 13 villas, including a 400-square-metre Presidential Villa, three Horizon Terrace Suites and nine Pool Villas, each elevated 14 metres. Days will unfold with private game drives, river safaris, and wellness rituals inspired by local traditions, all set amid untouched wilderness. It also has a private landing pad for helicopters

Tivoli Bilaj Al Jazayer Bahrain

The luxury Tivoli Bilaj Al Jazayer Bahrain will offer 100 guest rooms and suites, blending Arabian heritage with timeless elegance. Dining will be at the heart of the experience, with two restaurants showcasing global and local flavours and a relaxed café for light bites. Guests can socialise at two rooftop bars. One offers a relaxed poolside ambiance, while the second is an exclusive shisha lounge with indoor and outdoor areas, perfect for sunset and after-dark gatherings.
Avani Bilaj Al Jazayer Bahrain Resort

Avani Bilaj Al Jazayer Bahrain will have 110 rooms and suites, all-day dining and The Pantry, beach club, fitness centre, AvaniSpa, AvaniKids centre and a swimming pool.
Tivoli La Vie Muscat Hotel – Muscat, Oman

Tivoli La Vie Muscat Hotel, the debut of the Tivoli Hotels & Resorts brand in Oman, will provide a refined urban retreat with 79 elegant hotel rooms and 100 fully serviced branded residences. Located in the lifestyle development of LA VIE, Airport Heights, the property features an 18-hole golf course and Oman’s first Toptracer golf facility

Anantara Dubai Downtown Hotel – Dubai, UAE
Anticipated Relaunch: Q1 2026
Anantara Downtown Dubai Hotel will unveil a new era of urban sophistication following a complete renovation of its 252 guest rooms and suites. The hotel’s luxurious accommodation ranges from expansive 52 sqm rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows and contemporary décor, to 235 sqm suites with private balconies and pools.
The new signature restaurant, Ziya, introduces stylish brunches, a contemporary international menu, and a welcoming courtyard for intimate evenings.
