Minor Hotels has announced plans to develop Anantara Retreat Çeşme and Anantara Residences Çeşme, marking the luxury hospitality group’s expansion into Türkiye’s Aegean region. Scheduled to open in 2030, the new retreat and branded residences will strengthen the company’s growing luxury portfolio in Türkiye while bringing the Anantara brand to one of the country’s fastest growing leisure destinations.
The development will be located in the village of Çakabey in the Çeşme district of İzmir Province. The project will feature 54 guestrooms, suites and private pool villas, alongside 50 branded residences, with facilities designed to appeal to travellers seeking luxury, wellness and nature-focused experiences.
The retreat will form part of the wider Castello Fontana masterplan, a mixed use destination developed by Arikan Proje Geliştirme A.Ş. The project has been designed around art, gastronomy, agriculture, culture and wellbeing, reflecting the character of Türkiye’s Aegean landscape.
Surrounded by vineyards, rolling hills and the natural scenery of the region, the property will offer multiple dining venues, a rooftop skygazing bar, an Anantara Spa & Wellness centre, swimming pools, tennis and padel courts, and a Kids & Teens Club.
The development represents another step in Minor Hotels’ expansion strategy in Türkiye, where demand for luxury leisure travel continues to grow. The company has been increasing its presence in the country by introducing high end hospitality brands to destinations with strong international tourism potential.

The location offers convenient access despite its tranquil setting. Situated around one hour from İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport, the retreat will provide international and domestic visitors with easy access from Türkiye’s third largest city while offering a secluded base to explore the Aegean region.
