Radisson Hotel Group has surpassed 210 hotel signings and openings in 2025, marking a significant milestone in its expansion strategy across global markets. The group’s rapid growth reflects its ambition to position itself among the world’s leading hotel companies, supported by a diverse portfolio aimed at meeting evolving traveler expectations.
According to the company, this achievement demonstrates continued momentum across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Africa. Elie Younes, Executive Vice President and Global Chief Development Officer at Radisson Hotel Group, said the company’s progress in 2025 was driven by a “pursuit of excellence for customers and owners,” with hotel openings “carefully curated to what business and leisure travellers are seeking.”
Expanding brands across key markets
In EMEA, Radisson Blu remains one of Europe’s leading upper-upscale hotel brands, adding new properties in France, Germany, Türkiye and Montenegro. Among the latest openings is The Medlock at Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium, a partnership that redefines the concept of a stadium hotel. The Radisson Blu CDG Airport Terminal Hotel in Paris is also set to open later this year, offering direct access to one of Europe’s busiest airports.
France continues to play a central role in Radisson’s growth, with the Radisson Collection brand expanding its presence through several openings and signings. This includes Cour des Loges Lyon, A Radisson Collection Hotel, and the signing of Banke Opera Paris, which will debut in 2026. The brand also entered Hungary with the Radisson Collection Hotel, Basilica Budapest, and reopened the Radisson Collection Hotel, Berlin, underscoring its commitment to luxury design and cultural heritage.

Momentum in lifestyle, resort, and midscale segments
Radisson RED continues to expand globally with openings in the UK, Romania, India, the UAE and Thailand. This includes Radisson RED Oslo City Centre, a Verified Net Zero Hotel, and upcoming launches in London and Rome. The art’otel Rome Piazza Sallustio, operated under the brand’s partnership with PPHE Hotel Group, adds to its growing portfolio of design-led urban properties.
Radisson Individuals has surpassed 100 hotels in operation and under development since its 2020 debut, strengthening its presence in markets such as France, Portugal, Germany, Malta and Kazakhstan. The brand’s introduction of three new segments — Premier, Boutique and Retreats — expands its flexibility for independent hotel owners and enhances guest choice within the Radisson ecosystem.
Meanwhile, the core Radisson brand has achieved sustainability milestones, including the launch of Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre, a Verified Net Zero property, and new market entries in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Armenia and Saudi Arabia. The group will also anchor an all-electric stadium development for Oxford United Football Club, signaling its commitment to environmentally responsible hospitality.
In Asia-Pacific, growth has been especially strong. Radisson opened 13 new hotels in India, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam, and signed 130 new properties in China this year alone. Country Inn & Suites by Radisson has become the fastest-growing brand in China, with 375 hotels now part of its portfolio.
India remains one of the group’s most dynamic markets, surpassing 200 hotels and expanding into 47 new cities. With 130 properties operational and more than 70 under development, Radisson aims to reach 500 hotels in the country by 2030. This follows 59 new signings over the past 18 months, solidifying its status as the leading organically growing international hotel operator in India.
In Africa, Radisson has expanded into new territories while deepening investment in established markets such as Morocco, South Africa and Nigeria. The group recently debuted in the Democratic Republic of Congo with Radisson Blu Hotel, Kinshasa, and Radisson Hotel Lubumbashi. It also entered Zimbabwe with Radisson Harare and plans to extend its footprint near Victoria Falls. By 2030, Radisson targets 30 hotels in Morocco and 25 in South Africa.
With its resort portfolio now exceeding 160 properties across Asia, Europe and Africa, Radisson Hotel Group continues to grow in response to rising demand for leisure travel. Recent openings include Radisson Hotel Cannes, Radisson Collection The National Hotel, Brussels, and Radisson Collection Resort, Galle in Sri Lanka. Together, these developments underline the group’s focus on blending modern hospitality with local experiences as it accelerates global expansion in 2025.
